On January 27th, the 16th Honda Battle of the Bands took place in the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Bringing together eight outstanding bands to take over the field! The stadium filled with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) graduates, students, and music lovers from all across the world!
The Honda Battle of the Bands was created as a way to celebrate and support black college marching bands and highlight. Honda grants $20,000 to each of the finalist bands to support their music programs.

Kontrol was on the scene to capture the wonderful performances from all the great bands. We were blessed with a performance by Atlanta’s finest 112. They took to the stage to perform all of their great hits that the fans loved! Yes, of course, Ryan Cameron kept the stadium live with the old school vs. new school DJ battles to the crowd dance offs. This by far is one the best events for all ages to enjoy!
