If you have been wondering what ever happened to Mike Tyson; there is no need to speculate any further. This boxing Hall of Famer has now gone to Broadway in his one man show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth. In this show Mike gives us raw and uncensored emotions. He also tells us that we will get to see a more compelling and softer side of him. “The show is going to be like a rollercoaster of emotions. They’re going to go from laughing to crying.” With the help from his wife Kiki Tyson who wrote the production and the direction from Academy Award nominee Spike Lee, Mike Tyson gives us the gritty truth from his boxing career to the spicy divorce with ex-wife Robyn Givens. “I don’t know if people will take me seriously but I take myself seriously and I’m having fun,” Tyson humbly admits. Scheduled for a 10 week run which started earlier this month, Mike is ready for lights, camera, and action. “I really like being on stage. Being on stage is almost like fighting; lights, cameras and its action right there.” Not only is he giving fans another side of himself on stage and film, he is also giving his heart, time and efforts back to his community with his philanthropist works with Mike Tyson Cares. This foundation gives all children a fighting chance at a better life as they help provide kids with school supplies, healthcare, shelter and many other needs. “I was one of those under privileged kids and someone gave me a chance. That’s what we need…HOPE.” It is safe to say that Mike Tyson has not KO’d just yet. He’s back and ready for another round in the ring, or should we say…the stage.
