The Farhad Re Paris Fall Winter 2021/2022 couture collection was released during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week online. Nothing could have prepared me for what I’d witness from the online show or the creative expression in the designer’s attention to detail and willingness to experiment. For those of you that may be unaware, Farhad Re is consistent in the production of luxury clothes that are specifically for the stylishly unique and fashionably unafraid. This is important to acknowledge. There’s a particular point in design where the border between fashion design and art is bestrode and when its crossed.
Farhad Re is able to confidently and happily play on both sides of the creative field. I wouldn’t attribute this to creative range alone, but also a unique creative perspective that few designers have.
The Farhad Re fall/winter 2021 collection was shown at the opulent Chateau de Montherlant in France. The luxury estate served as the perfect backdrop for the Farhad Re fall/winter collection, and helped to personify the imaginative and almost fairy-tale reminiscent aesthetic of the collection.
Farhad Re 2021/2022 fall/winter collection was perhaps more chic than I can say. It’s not often that I find myself at a loss for words when reviewing collections—but Farhad Re somehow managed to do this. Farhad Re presented a darkly and bewitchingly elegant collection that put special emphasis on construction. Considering the designer’s learned background in architecture, its unsurprising that his designs incorporate such high standards of design and creative innovation. You can safely assume that this is apart of Farhad Re Paris’s signature as a creative authority. The Farhad Re F/W 2021 collection was wildly imaginative. The collection, named “The Others” is comprised of 100% natural luxury fabrics. Voluminous, architectural dresses, crafted in triple organza silk in dark hues, channeled an almost other worldly aesthetic.
