As day two of Kontrol Magazine’s “Fashion In The City” continued, more stylish and talented designers, graced us with their presence on the runway. The second day of the two day fashion show event, showed us not only what it takes to be a Women’s Designer, but also how to incorporate a chic, sexy and sophisticated look into the details of design. The lovely ladies of Havok Jones hosted the first half of the showcase and showed us that they are not only talented but also have style and an eye for fashion as a female girl group.

The first part of the showcases featured designs from the IMME Collection as well as Dvaria, whom are both Women’s apparel designers. The IMME Collection gave a very sexy look to the models wearing the merchandise. The pieces from the collection can be worn on romantic occasion, and on occasions where a woman can just want to look sexy, classy and have fun.
Two of my favorite looks from the collection were the white jumper which i would recommend for the a Girls Night Out, as well as the red and white mermaid dress which i just absolutely loved, as it reminded me of prom and something similar to Rihanna’s Met Gala dress.

The Second Designer was Dvaria, who also showcased a women’s collection of designs. As her look for collection walked out , i could tell she wanted to incorporate a classy and chic style to this particular collection of hers. Many of her pieces reminded me of Chanel fashion week from the trendy and printed suits to the trench coats, and even the color blocked schemes she used for many pieces. Dvaria collection appeals to these classy and sophisticated women, whom want to incorporate fashion in an everyday look. Ultimately Dvaria collection reminds me of the fashionable ensembles from Sex and the City, as it gives women to express their love for fashion without having to over express it.

The second part of the fashion showcase was hosted by again the talented and beautiful actress Malinda Williams. The first designer whose collection i ultimately loved was House of Falenciago, a designer duo based out of Washington DC. The designers have pieces that are seriously meant for the red carpet, award show and any Gala/Charitable event. It seriously takes fashion for women to a classical and fashionable level, that will everyone turning heads.
The dresses are elegant, chic, sexy, stylish, everything you can think of that goes along with style.

As i finish off recapping Fashion in the city Atlanta, each designers pieces were EVERYTHING. They all expressed their collection by providing a dash of what fashion is but in a unpredictable way. I would definitely recommend each designer to any women wanting to get back into her sense of style, and creating a chic look for herself every now and then. Fashion in the city Atlanta has been a success, now it time to see what the Diamond Gala will give.
