Steph Curry and Under Amour have released images of their new Gold Under Armour CURRY 3ZER0. The limited edition design features a white mesh and metallic gold. The white mesh is featured trough the shell of the shoe, while the gold is seen on the back, extends down the heel and continues halfway through the sole.
On March 4th, New Yorkers were given a chance to win a signed pair of the new sneakers. Thirty pairs were given away through a contest, similar to a scavenger hunt. Steph sent out clues via Twitter for participants to figure out where the shoes were hidden. Some of the secret locations included basketball courts and nightclubs. According to Steph, the first ten people to get to the location won the shoes.
The shoes aren’t kept in a regular shoe box, instead, they are housed in a golden lockbox. Steph and all of the contest winners have the shoes and the lockbox, no word on if customers with also receive a golden lockbox with their new sneakers.

Last year Steph and Under Armour released the Under Amour Curry 3 which features a new technology called Threadbone, a material that was inspired by parachutes. Besides shoes, the partners have also produced socks, t-shirts, hoodies, and basketball pants. They also have a training mask and even their own headphones.
Steph rocked the CURRY 3ZER0 for the public during a game against the New York Knicks on March 5th; the Golden State Warriors won the game. The shoes might’ve given Steph a competitive edge or they had absolutely nothing to do with his game; either way the shoes looked good with his uniform.
The CURRY 3ZER0 are set to be released on May 1st. The shoes are priced at $120, however, this particular design will not be sold at any retailers. Instead, customers can find them at the Under Amour stores.
