Five Bereola Relationship Rules Everyone Should Know

Five Bereola Relationship Rules Everyone Should Know

  1.    “Pack a bag & bring your passport” is preferable to “what’cha doing this weekend…”

I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard from women how they loathe a man that can’t plan a date. We can spell “Independent” with Lil’ Boosie all day, run Fortune 500 companies and perform life saving surgeries, but at the end of the day we still want a man to tell us what to do from time to time. A man’s inability to plan a date lets us know he can’t take charge, and to a woman a man that cant take charge subsequently cant run a household, and isn’t one to marry. Now we understand every guy can’t fly us to Florence for the weekend, however you can use what you’ve got. A little ingenuity goes a long way. At minimum have the first two dates planned, it doesn’t have to be elaborate, it could simply be dinner, but have the restaurant already picked out.  Can you cook? Flex your chef muscles and set up a romantic evening with a great ambiance in the park. These little things may seem effortless and minute to men, but women tend to value the little things a whole lot more.

Chivalry isn’t dead! Open her doors, and send her flowers. Again, it’s the little things. Letting us know you care, and we’re on your mind whether via text, flowers, a card, a phone call, just gives us more reason to want to open up the candy shop. Just like men want “a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets” we’re looking for the same thing! Take us out, a little Romance goes a long way, then take us down! Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Handcuffs…I mean if that’s what you’re into.

3.   “An interested man is eager to secure your time-If he’s not making plans, he doesn’t wanna be your man”

Listen, we all get busy in life, but there just isn’t that much busy in the world! This rule applies to men and women; if someone is truly interested in you they are going to do what ever it takes to spend time with you. I mean time is money right? So why would anyone waste their time knowing nothing productive or beneficial will come of there efforts.  Now if they’re making time for you at Drive-Thru hours, then you already know what’s on the agenda, and if you’re cool with that ride it out, no pun intended.

4.    “Indecision will have the love of your life marry someone else”

At some point in life I think we all meet our soul mate, but we all aren’t fortunate enough to spend the rest of our lives with them. Sometimes we sabotage a thing because we are afraid of what good feels like. We tell ourselves She/he is “too good to be true”, and then begin to look for a reason things will go wrong in anticipation of our hearts demolition. Whether you call it self-sabotaging, or a self-fulfilling prophecy no one wins in cruel love games.  Be real with yourself, and your love interest about your feelings. Most importantly take the good as it comes and when storms arise don’t run for the hills so soon. Everyone’s patience has an expiration date.

5.    “You cant demand a Michelle if you’re unwilling to do the Barack work”

This rule applies to the men, as well as women.  Really in any arena of life, you can’t expect to reap the yield of work that has not been done.  If you are not on a presidential relationship status by yourself, how can you expect to get there with someone else? No man or woman wants to solely carry a relationship, and their partner. Whatever expectations you have for your mate, makes sure what you bring to the table is of equal value.
