Kontrol had the pleasure of trying the delicious food of Tin Lizzy’s Cantina at Emory Point. The new location opened last week and is the latest eatery to open in the mixed-use development on Clifton Road, across from the Centers for Disease Control and just down the street from Emory University. It was a very inviting atmosphere inside and the staff was extremely friendly. We started out with their chips and queso blanco. Their tortilla chips were to die for! They come to you warm and well-seasoned, which was the first time I have ever had them that way. We eventually got to taste Tin Lizzy’s famous strawberry and sweet tea margaritas, and one Long Island Ice Tea. Next it was time for the main course – Philly Style Quesadilla, Shrimp Cobb Taco, and grilled shrimp nachos. All of the dishes that we had the honor of trying were fantastic. Finally, we ended our meals with Tin Lizzy’s new fried apple empandas, which was my personal favorite. It was a warm turnover filled with sweet apples and topped with caramel sauce. We all truly enjoyed ourselves and the wonderful experience.
If you are looking for a great spot for margaritas with friends, nachos with the family, or just delectable sweets with the loved one, then Tin Lizzy’s Cantina (Emory Point) is the place for you. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which I know everyone would appreciate. Visit them today!
