My favorite things about Fall are the yummy scents swirling the the air,the changing of the leaves,the seasonal goodies being harvested and the chance for intimate get-togethers with those I enjoy the most. However one of the changes Autumn brings that I am sure we can all do without is the dry,chapped skin that the brisk weather can bring about! But not to fret, I have fun do-it-yourself spa recipes that will usher in the Fall, smoothly and comfortably! So grab your friends, something warm to sip on and try them out!
Pumpkin Pie Facial Mask
Perfect for nourishing skin,preventing acne providing anti- aging and overall glowing effects.
Puree 1/2 cup fresh Pumpkin pulp,add 2eggs. Mix and smooth over face. *For DRY skin add 2 tsp almond milk for ** OILY skin add 2 tsp apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice. Let sit 30 mins and rinse with WARM washcloth.
Fall Scented Moisturizing Hand Cream
1/3 cup Sweet Almond Oil, 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil, 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, 3 tablespoons grated Beeswax, 30-35 drops of your preferred essential oil ( try combined Fall scents for more fun!)
Combine oils and heat over MEDIUM heat,just until warm (approx 5 mins) add grated beeswax and continue stirring until completely melted. Refrigerate 5-10 mins then add ESSENTIAL OILS,pour into desired containers and cool completely. **STORE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE**
Fall Infused Body Scrub
Equal parts Brown Sugar, Coconut Oil,Lemon Juice, 1 drop desired essential oil.
Mix together and scrub over lips, be sure to add ChapStick of your choice afterwards.
