It has been awhile, but the Fast & Furious franchise is back and better than ever in Furious 7! This time the team is paying for their past sins when a hit man, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) hunts them down to exact revenge for his crippled brother. It is up to Dominic (Vinn Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) to gather the team for one final ride after Shaw kills one of their own. To put it simply–its war on wheels and Abu Dabi and Los Angeles will never be the same! Trust me you will love every globetrotting, gun toting, street fighting, car racing minute of it!
Superhero movies eat your heart out! They really pushed the envelope with this film. The super car tricks they perform make the Batmobile look like some Hot Wheel toy out of Wal-Mart! The entire time you find yourself entertained with one outlandish scene after another seasoned with a few soft moments between Dominic and Lettie (Michelle Rodriguez); and humorous quips from Roman (Tyrese). Even Ludacris shines when it comes to saving the day. However, it is the tribute to the late Paul Walker that will truly move your heart. He was is amazing in this film and will be greatly missed. Rumors are swirling that this is the final installment of the franchise, but that remains to be seen. After all why would you ever stop a great thing?
The Atlanta premiere of the film was star studded. Demetria McKinney, Roger Bobb (Stop it! They are together), Wanda Smith, Ryan Cameron, Toya Bush Harris, and Trina Braxton are just a few who showed up in support of this highly anticipated sequel. With Big Tigger hosting the event; the night began with lots of laughs and prizes! Most of them had nothing but good things to say and tweet about the film. Ryan Cameron even talked about how his daughter had to dissuade him from shifting car gears while driving like the stars of the film!
