90’s nostalgia is definitely a trend that’s here to stay. With the rise of washed out fabrics and distressed denim, clothing retailer The Gap is definitely embracing the trend with a new exclusive collection that has already dropped for the new season. Cool right? Well, the other super dope factor with this collection is the equally dope campaign ad.

Marking the relaunch of their key archival pieces the American label is paying tribute to the legendary Gap ads of the ’90s.
In a new film titled “Generation Gap,” the ad features the sons and daughters of its 90s ad icons which include models Rumer Willis, Jerry Hall’s daughter Lizzy Jagger, Jam Master Jay’s son TJ Mizell, Diana Ross’s son Evan, and Kim Gordon’s daughter Coco Gordon to name a few. The ad is super lit! It’s very creative yet simplistic in true Gap fashion.
The models can be seen behind the scenes laughing and chopping it up amongst themselves before the actual shoot begins. Once the shoot commences the young stars are striking still poses singing along to Color Me Badd – All for love. With a slow camera pan over the entire group rocking their “Generation Gap” duds, the ad also features a legendary supermodel in the mix. The original legendary ’90s supermodel Naomi Campbell. Campbell interrupts the party to begin the actual shoot to later on joining in on the fun. “Generation Gap” is throwing it back to the 90’s with this limited edition collection, pulled from their archives, just as you remember them. Check out the capsule collection for yourself, available in-stores now. Also definitely don’t forget to check out the dope campaign ad down below! Your dope for reading.
