After months of praying, hoping, and well wishes we are sad to report Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has died at the age of twenty-two. Less than an hour ago Entertainment Tonight reported she passed surrounded by her family at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. This is a dark day indeed. The Houston Family released a statement:
She is finally at peace in the arms of God…We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.
As you already know on January 31st of this year, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub. She was then taken to North Fulton Hospital and placed on a ventilator to assist with her breathing. Later, she was placed in a medically induced coma at Emory Hospital. The world held out hope, with millions worldwide, praying for her speedy recovery. When news circulated she was off the ventilator, opening her eyes, and transported to a rehabilitation center many of us believed that miracle was underway. Again, however, hearts sunk as she was transported to a hospice on June 24th.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston told ET in a statement that day. “We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
Many suspect her boyfriend, Nick Gordon had something to do with her accident, and apparently has has been anticipating her death by gearing up with a high powered legal team. Bobbi Kristina’s life may have ended, but the scandal, drama, and tragedy surrounding all of this will only build momentum. Someone has to answer for what has happened to her; and being found the same way her mother was hits too close to home! There are few pains greater than the loss of a child and we can only imagine what Bobby and the rest of the family are going through. Life is far too short and has too much to offer for such a young life to be snuffed out. Rest in peace, Bobbi Kristina we truly loved the woman you were meant to be. “Gone too soon” is the statement currently echoing throughout the world…
