Jim is definitely down on his luck when everyone discovers Oswald Cobblepot is alive and well. He quickly calls Barbara to try and get her to leave their apartment and Gotham as soon as possible. This latest revelation exonerates Jim, but places he and Harvey at odds. The latter slugs and then threatens to kill him for his cover up. Captain Essen advises him to leave Gotham for good once he fills her in on what has transpired. Jim refuses, telling her Gotham is where he belongs. Fish sends her men to fetch Jim. At Barbara and Jim’s apartment her right hand man tries to intimidate Barbara. Jim arrives and after a brief exchange of words, shoots one man and incapacitates another before allowing the final one to leave. Elsewhere, Fish is furious to discover Penguin is alive. She and The Russian try to get Falcon to execute Penguin, but he refuses. They find his calmness unnerving. Fish tries to retrieve Oswald from Maroni but he refuses. Falcon does however send Victor Zsasz after Jim. Jim sends Barbara away on a bus and tells her if he does not survive to never return to Gotham.

Jim goes to work like usual the next day and gets warrants to arrest Falcon and the mayor. Victor arrives at the precinct and demands to know where Jim is. The latter refuses to go, believing his fellow cops will protect him. Everyone leaves the precinct when Victor asks them to resulting in a shoot out between he and Jim. During the battle, a cop is killed. Victor cuts a tally mark into his body. The latter is shot twice trying to flee. Thankfully Renee and Crispus come to his rescue. They take him to a doctor that will not reveal his whereabouts. She removes two bullets from him and advises him to stay put. Naturally, he does the opposite and prepares to leave with Crispus’ support. They head to Wayne Manor where Alfred surprisingly incapacitates Crispus believing he is trying to break into the Manor. There, Jim apologizes to Bruce that he will not be able to find out who killed his parents as he must now contend with Falcon. Bruce admonishes him for treating him like a child and demands he does what he must to stop this madness. Meanwhile, Oswald finds himself deeper in Maroni’s good graces when he shows the Don’s men one of Falcon’s hideouts stacked with money. He offs Maroni’s lieutenant when he becomes disrespectful.

Falcon meets with Maroni and they put and end to their war. He allows Maroni to keep Oswald and in turn gains a warehouse from him. Bullock finally comes around and teams up with Jim to take Falcon down. He uses the warrants he has to try and arrest Falcon, threatening to se deadly force if he resists. Falcon informs him he has Barbara held hostage and has Victor deliver her to prove it. Apparently, she came back to Gotham and went to him pleading for her fiance’s life. Jim and Bullock surrender. Falcon realizes Jim truly honorable and allows him, Bullock, and Barbara to leave alive, much to Victor’s dismay. Falcon goes to check on his chickens and met by Oswald. It is revealed Oswald has been working as a spy for Falcon the whole time and revealed Fish and The Russian’s attempts at a coup. Falcon is amazed at how he accurately predicted how everything wold turn out and considers him an asset.
Victor Zsasz is bad ass! Yo just know he is going to be an even more awesome villain in “Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.” I really like how we got to see just how much power the criminals wield in Gotham. For the police to fear them that much is a clear indication just how lawless that city really is. I am just ready to see what Falcon will do to Fish!
