Let’s be real, office attire is a dying breed from Monday to Friday. So, why not change the status quo. Two young Latina sisters, Claudia and Flavia Giardinella, created a womenswear brand, artTeca, offering endless styling possibilities for women that are unique.

“We thought this would be perfect to bring different prints that [can] express your personality and make you feel empowered in what you’re wearing”, said Flavia.

“Everything is acceptable according to your personality and style”, said Flavia. Style isn’t what it use to be; whatever you do in life, you should be able to express and feel good in what you’re wearing without blending in. artTECA has created a concept that unifies art with fashion. With a love for art from a young age, the two entrepreneurs are motivated by two things, “working with artists in a different realm and trying to do something very creative [with emphasis] into fashion”. Motivated by high-end fashion lines that collaborate and promote art inspired artTECA to bring something different to the world of fashion, “[yet] 100% us”. 

“Our pieces connect you to others because they are a conversation piece”, said Flavia. artTECA’s current collection consists of tanks, blouses, joggers, scarves, kimonos, and bomber jackets. Within artTECA’s collection, you are wearing a piece of art, whose proceeds go to local schools. Allowing you to impact “the community and benefit others that may not have the opportunity to express themselves”.

“Women are becoming more daring to wear colors and prints in different walks of life,” said Flavia. Connecting women, and being women themselves, artTECA serves as the flexibility to wear clothing as a purpose for empowerment. “Our message to women is to be confident in your own skin; [utilizing] their own style and our pieces to express their own style ”, said Flavia. artTECA makes clothing that is flexible to wear many hats, that can also transition to any occasion. “In today’s fashion world there isn’t a big trend, your own style is acceptable”, said Flavia.

“Women [want] a piece they know is special because it’s art; every piece comes with a limited certificate on the artist”, said Claudia.

The key to comfortable office attire starts with the fabric. artTECA is always working on new collections, new artists, new prints to make every detail and every piece beautiful. “We work hard to [provide] women a high-value item, not only the prints and art, but also [quality] fabric that maintains overtime, and feels and look good”, said Flavia.
