Legendary Atlanta Braves baseball player and MLB all-time home-run leader Hank Aaron is a big time fan of the Atlanta Hawks. It is reported that the baseball legend is in the bidding war for the Atlanta Hawks NBA basketball team.
The Hawks went up for sale when a racist email from 2012 surfaced and published all over the web from former Hawks Owner Bruce Levenson:
Now, the Hawks have a pretty good number of bidders ready to take over a team that is currently sitting at the top of the eastern conference of the NBA on a 8-game winning streak. Among the list are Memphis Grizzlies minority owner Steve Kaplan, Indonesian billionaires Erick Thohir and Handy Poernomo Soetedjo, and DC United managing general partner Jason Levien.
The Atlanta Hawks are looking like a pretty powerful team right now on the court. This bidding game could get as hot as the team is right now really quick!
