It seems like Cash Money Records is once again making a buzz–well ruckus in the entertainment and radio biz. As you know, the rap/hip-hop record label has seen its fair share of controversy and let downs over the last few years with recent fueds and lawsuits with Lil Wayne and the controversy that is Young Thug. It seems like the label was doomed for failure. Well it looks like Birdman and Slim are not ready to go down without a fight–or at least Cash Money’s story being told. Well it looks like there will be a biopic on the rise and origins of the label, following in the footstep of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube’s hit biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

Following in the footsteps of N.W.A and the wildly successful “Straight Outta Compton” movie they just put out, Birdman & Slim just announced on Wednesday that they too are working on a script for an upcoming Cash Money Records film.
With a book in the plans as well, Slim couldn’t confirm what would come first, the film or book, but all they could say was how excited they are.
In today’s news Birdman was in rare form as he fired off on Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, the hosts of the radio show, The Breakfast Club. In what is undoubtedly the shortest interview in the history of the show; he accuses them of disrespecting him and seemed particularly irate with Charlamagne. Naturally, Charlemagne (in his true style) shrugged it off, but was all that really necessary from Birdman? The hosts of this show talk a lot of mess about a number of celebrities. Like Charlamagne pointed out, “Why go after the radio guy?” Birdman cut it out.
