It’s Done! Steve Harvey’s Talk Show Officially Canceled

When it comes to Steve Harvey’s talk show, “series finale” is the term we should be bringing to the forefront. The show wrapped its final episode yesterday. As you recall, it has been reported that original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, will be getting her own talk show set to take Steve’s time slot.

Although they tried to mask the cancellation by saying IMG would try and shop Steve’s show elsewhere, the fact they decided to give Kelly his talk show spot was more than telling.

“Steve” taped its final episode on Thursday. Originals will air through June and the show will remain on the air in reruns through September.
Steve Harvey’s talk show had a good run, but all good things must come to an end, especially in television where ratings dictate longevity. We are sure, however, Steve is not hurting financially as he has a million other jobs it seems. Hopefully, Kelly’s show will be even better. What are your thoughts? Will you guys miss the talk show.
