Rapper and mogul, Jadakiss continues to rumble in the rap world. With a career spanning over twenty years, he has become one of rap and hip-hop’s most prominent names and game changers. Recently, he released a new album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, an an amazing album that has been critically acclaimed by the hip-hop community. Jadakiss proves he can still deliver the powerful verses, unmatched lyrics, and a rep so fire he puts today’s rappers in a nursery rhyme genre!
It is no wonder that his son, Jae’Won Phillips, has teamed up with creative director, Savannah Britt, for the third installment of her Retro Remixes photo shoot in homage to his father! Jae’Won a psychology major at Clark Atlanta University and party promoter is the spitting image of his father clad in over-sized sweatsuits, paper towel bandannas, and Air Force Ones (I need two pair, LOL.). Check out some of his father’s past looks he has mirrored below!
This shoot is amazing and really pushes the old phrase that “the apple does not fall far from the tree”–at least looks wise in this case. We are sure Jadakiss is super proud of Jae’Won. We wonder what the future holds for this nineteen year old. Will he be following in his father’s footsteps?
