Who doesn’t love a good treat while your shopping?
This Saturday I had the pleasure of attending internet sensation Jacky Oh’s J.Nova collection pop up shop at Cupcake Mafia Boutique in Atlanta. The event consist of shopping while chatting over those delicious cupcakes with a little music. From the cupcakes, the well known pink carpet at the boutique, to the warming welcome.
I couldn’t help but to feel comfortable, relaxed and excited about shopping.
Walking in I was greeted by J. Nova owner Jacky herself with a hello and a big hug! Jacky showed pure excitement to share her product with customers. The collection of glosses and eye shadow were endless. While mingling, customers took the time to shop throughout the boutique and try out J. Nova glosses. This bubbly collection represents her bubbly personality. But if you’re dating comedian DC Young Fly, being bubbly and fun is definitely a must. Jacky appears on Wild N Out and can be seen on Youtube from make-up tutorials to funny clips with her beau featuring there beautiful daughter. Now, owner has been added to that title and she is loving every minute of it.
Here’s my favorite glosses from the pop up shop!
“OMG, I finally found a matte nude that doesn’t make my lips look dry,” the first thing I said after trying SEND NUDES matte gloss. After a few customers chuckled at my statement, I just knew I was done shopping. But, then I spotted “Plum Wine and Clear Glass making my decision harder.
After contemplating, my search came to an end when I notice “LIGHT MY FIRE” a fire red gloss sure to grab anyones attention!
I went from being a Matte girl to fallen in love with gloss all over again. The quality of the collection is great. Each lipgloss goes on smoothly and the color selection really popped! There were so many glosses to choose from, what’s a girl to do. After a harsh and complex decision not to buy all, I decided to purchase “Light my fire.”

What inspired your lipgloss collection?
“It really started when people started asking me about what lipstick or lip gloss was I wearing. And, I thought I should just start my own line.” Jacky stated while bagging my purchase. As a result, J.Nova was born
