We live in a society where looking great is essential for success. Whether its no carbs, low fat, or the lemonade diet, consumers are desperate to find the next big thing to lose weight. This technique not only help shed the pounds, but taste amazing. Fresh produce that is available in grocery stores can give us the results we crave and most importantly pure skin. Thats right! We are what we eat. If you put junk into your vessel, it will definitely reflect it. If you put healthy things into your body, your body will become a lean, mean, fat burning machine.
A new craze is sweeping the nation with jaw dropping results. Juicing is a great way to incorporate those fruit and veggies in one glass. It also gives my fellow veg heads the opportunity to mix up their favorite veggies in one medley. I love to juice because it makes me feel great about living a healthier lifestyle. I can feel the nutrients filling my body with the good things, and destroying the bad toxins. Most food that we consume can make us feel lethargic and sluggish. This is also apparent when we look into the mirror. In need of clear skin? Try changing your diet and eliminating those dirty pores with more water. Flushing the body with water can clear up the skin leaving a smooth, yet silky tone. Here is my recipe for a yumtastic juice blend!
All you need is the following items:
- 1 Banana
- 7 Strawberries
- 3 splashes of Orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger (Buy ginger by the bulb and store excess in the freezer. It will remain fresh in a zip loc bag)
- 3 handfuls of spinach
Rip spinach into pieces then place into the blender. Do the same for the banana. Cut stems off the strawberries and place into the blender. Add ginger as well and the orange juice. Blend until the right thickness and enjoy!
