Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg–six of the most iconic superheroes on the planet have joined forces in what is now the greatest superhero film to date–Justice League!
The film centers on a world grown bitter after the death of Superman. Fear, violence, anger, and hopelessness pervade the world as Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) are forced to recruit Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Rey Fisher) to help stop a new alien invasion.
Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds), a powerful member of an alien race known as the New Gods, is bent on the conquering and destruction of Earth after being dealt a devastating defeat thousands of years ago from an alliance of humans, Amazons, Atlanteans, and gods. Superman’s (Henry Cavill) death and the current state of humanity, attract Steppenwolf and his hordes of Parademons (shock troops that resemble humanoid flies) and he searches the planet for three Mother Boxes, powerful alien artifacts that can terraform Earth and destroy all life as we know it.
Batman, a perpetual loner, and Wonder Woman, who has spent the better half of a century hiding from mankind lead a temperamental Aquaman determined to honor his royal duties, an unsure and insecure Flash trying to right the wrongs of his past, and a Cyborg who is still learning the extents of his powers and abilities on a day to day basis. Like any team in the beginning they struggle to work together, but when a powerful element of hope is introduced to the team, our heroes prove they are legends!
We have to say Warner Bros. and DC Comics are NOT playing when it comes to their superhero films. There was action from the beginning of the film to the end and at no point were you left bored or wondering. We are still reeling from the fact there is an actual Justice League film out and are even more excited about future films to be added to the DC Cinematic Universe. This film’s message is one of hope. In Wonder Woman’s solo film she stated “Man made a world where standing together is impossible…” Well, Diana was wrong. The alliance of these heroes proves no real good is ever truly accomplished when you stand alone. You all just be sure to check out the Justice League movie debuting nationwide at select theaters this Thursday night, and nationwide Friday, November 17th! We are #AllIn!
