*Kontrol Insider* Gone With the Wind…The Classic Combo That Will Blow You Away [Special Feature]

I am pretty sure that I have said this a few times too many but at this point I don’t even care.  Black and white is life.  Trust me when I say that this combo does NOT and probably will NOT go out of style.  It always blends together effortlessly regardless of textures or prints and its versatility is IMG_5253insane. With this combo,  it is easy to be gone with the wind fabulous, especially with a cape involved…

Oddly enough, up until last year, I was not advocating for the classic combo like i am today.  I was the complete opposite.  I bought everything under the sun that was of any vibrant color and always encouraged others to think outside of their colorless box.  I can’t even pinpoint at what point and time I made this switch but I love it and pieces like this cape blazer from Superficial Clothing keep pushing me closer and closer to the point of no return.

It was nothing less than love at first site.  At first I kept debating between the white and the red (yes, there’s a red one!) but finally settled on the white because of my new obsession and the fact that I was sure it would go with a lot more looks.  Because of all that I do and the confidence I have in myself, I already know that I am a superwoman but this cape definitely confirmed that.  Not to mention, it is extremely stylish.  You really couldn’t tell me that I wasn’t flying over some city saving fashionistas in distress all over the world.

As soonIMG_5246 as I put it on and felt the wind blow, you couldn’t tell me that I wasn’t gone with the wind fabulous, literally.  It is not as stiff as a regular blazer and with it being a cape, I definitely loved the fact that I was able to freely move my arms.  With this being my first time wearing it, I wanted to keep it a little retro and a little modern.  I didn’t want to overdo it because it’s a statement in itself which is probably why I leaned towards the black and white. This look is also very versatile and can be worn to a variety of events.  Also, having pieces that can do that are the key to a great wardrobe without buying something new every time no matter what colors they may be.

So don’t get it twisted.  I am by no means saying to only buy black and white nor am I saying to stay away from it.  Still venture out and grab other colors because anything can be mixed and matched if done correctly.  What I am saying though is to stock up on capes because trust and believe you will see me in more of them flying all over the place.  Because of the breathable nature, they are definitely one of those things to be on the lookout for year round.  To get this one, the red one, or anything else, visit Superficial Clothing and follow them on Instagram @superficial_clothing.
