On February 22nd, Kontrol Magazine celebrated our first annual Women of Style Dinner. At the dinner, Kontrol launched the first Women of Style Award which was presented to Kontrol’s newest cover girl, the beautiful Ms. Angela Simmons. It was a very special evening recognizing outstanding and influential Women of Style. The amazing event took place at House Of Blended Ink (HOBI) in Atlanta. Decorated in black and gold the atmosphere was no less that perfect thanks to the designs of Kimberly Hamilton Design One event’s (Sapphire Decor), Divine Celebrations, and Sweet Seats.

The private dinner was attended by those who were chosen for their significant contributions to business, style and beauty in both the public and private sector as CEO, Board, and senior Executive Level. Many familiar faces came to celebrate including: Jasmine Burke, Keyshia Knight-Pulliam, Monyetta Shaw, Christina Johnson, Bo Tally, and many more.

The Women of a Style Power Dinner was a great opportunity for stylistic and fashionistas to network, share ideas, and mingle. Key women executive leaders from every industry- fashion, beauty, television and film, professionals, and media, have been individually invited for their success and dedication in the fashion and beauty business.

Angela and guests enjoyed an amazing spread of food prepared by caterer, Ebony Jones, and sweet delicious treats created by Brown Sugar Desserts. Effen Vodka and Martell Cognac were sponsors for the dinner and drinks were good and flowing. The dinner also wouldn’t have been possible if it was for the great bartenders from Rum on the Run and sponsors such as Imperial Hair Collections.

Kontrol Magazine looks forward to celebrating even more Women of Style for many years to come. So that the deserving women in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment are sure to be acknowledged and celebrated.
