(Atlanta, Georgia January 22, 2018) — Julian Lark, founder of Kontrol Magazine, steps down as acting Editor in Chief of the media brand effective February 2018. Mr. Lark’s resignation marks the end of his hands-on day-to=day operational editorial role with Kontrol magazine. Julian will remain the sole owner and publisher of the brand. Announcing the immediate change in position, Julian will work on the expansion of his apparel and accessory boutique – Revel Prive/Revel by Julian Lark, and his personal styling brand. Kontrol Magazine will continue its distinct place in the media world with its new leadership that accentuates a milestone, but also promotes a sense of value, quality, creativity and direction with cutting edge direction, insight, and editorial integrity for issues to come.
Following Julian Lark’s reign as the EIC on behalf of Kontrol Magazine, Julian Lark appoints Chanan Kennedy, known for her creative direction of Images by Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy will lead the staff in the future of the media brand to continue redefining style in the fashion, beauty and entertainment arena. Chanan has been a significant contributor in the creative direction on behalf of Kontrol Magazine, so her promotion as the new Editor-in-Chief supports the trust that the team has instilled in her involvement. Mr. Lark will still act as operational support for Kontrol Magazine.
