Teyana Taylor finally releases “Maybe” on iTunes. The sick and mellow track made its debut on The Breakfast Club last month, where Teyana also shared her perspective on the messy break-up and betrayal she experienced from ex-fiance, Brandon Jennings and ex-best friend, Tae Heckard. The track “Maybe” hot enough to overshadow all the messy drama.
Although Teyana is a New York native, this track has a dope, smooth, southern feel. Teyana blesses the track with subtle, sexy vocals (just as tight as her famous physique) while she sings verses just as sick as her song guest mates. Virginia veteran and G.O.O.D Music label mate, Pusha T is a monster on the track (nothing new), spitting tantalizing lines like “Know the spot and how to reach it…meet your man, shake his hand. That’s how I keep our little secret.” Yo Gotti lends his flow to the hot summer track, complimenting the beat with his tipsy Memphis flow.
It can’t be denied that this song is absolute fire. This track will definitely be a part of the summer hit list of 2014. While staying busy working on her album, Teyana is also promoting her hair extension line, My Extensionz along with her men’s clothing line and sports site Taylor’d&Bow.
