Kontrol Your Style with the Unfading Denim Look.

As you probably already know, denim is not about to go out of style and while this fabric was first used by minors and other hard labor workers, today denim is worn by pretty much everybody including celebrities. Tia Mowry-Hardrict showed up at the Stylewatch Denim Party with one of our fave outfits: the head-to-toe denim look. Pairing classic jeans with a light blue denim shirt, she also added a simple black belt, a matching pair of sandals and some gold jewelry to finish the look. From Kim Kardashian and Rihanna to Olivia Palermo, this style has had a real success and is particularly loved by celebrities.

Here’s some advice about denim looks for this fall/winter season but also what to pair it with when you don’t feel the complete head-to-toe style.

Tia’s look for less:

The high waist bootcut jeans. Coming back from the 60s, the high waist bootcut jeans with a shirt tucked into your pants can be either paired with pumps for an elegant look or with ankle booties with chunky heels for a more cozy style.

The denim coat. Large or long the denim coat is one of the must have items and can be worn with any type of fabric and color, even over denim itself.

The patchwork jeans. While we have been ripping our jeans in every possible way and for many seasons, it is now time to fix them with various types and tints of denim patches. Worn with pumps or platform sneakers, you can vary your style easily with the appropriate top.

The girly denim dress. Long, short, slim-fitting or flared, the girly denim dress has many options. Simply paired with pumps it can give you either a sexy or elegant look depending on the design of the dress.
