How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing since I was about 13 but I didn’t publish my first book until I was 37 years old.
What genre do you write?
I write Romance and Romance Suspense.
How many published books do you have?
I have eleven published books in total.
Which book is your favorite?
Institutionalized is my favorite. It’s the most personal and I had so much fun developing Rasheed’s character.
Who are your favorite authors?
Too many to count, but if I had to choose, I would say, Kimberla Lawson Roby, B.M. Hardin, Victoria Christopher Murray, Pepper Winters…okay, let me stop before I get carried away.
Will you ever write full-time?
Yes, the goal is for me to become a full-time writer while transforming my stories into film.
What projects are you working on next?
I’m currently working on my father’s biography titled Victimized by The Feds. I plan to release it by end of September.
