We all love the hit show “Scandal” and the dirty details this television program unveils. From the imfamous affair with the President of the United States to crooked politicans looking for their next victim, Americans are in lust with this guilty pleasure.  Trust me, I am guilty of watching this show weekly on my couch with a glass of wine and my favorite snack. With season 4 ending, this show has no intentions on hitting the brakes. With the beautiful Kerry Washington as the star of the show, she has made a stronger name for herself in movies, TV, and endorsements. Her empire will not crumble if she continue on the road she is on.

Earlier today, it was rumored that another successful actress and beauty, Meagan Good, is replacing Kerry Washington due to a pay decrease because of the increase of production cost. SAY WHAT??!! This statement is totally FALSE and both parties have shot down the incorrect disclaimer. Even though Meagan is talented in her own right, there is no replacing the original Olivia Pope. Meagan has played roles in the past that displayed her stern, outgoing, yet stoic facade. She is capable of holding her own but trying to fill the heels of Olivia Pope is one task too large for her to handle. Kerry does an amazing job showing how a woman in our nation’s capital can take #kontrol of any situation no matter how high the costs are. She does it with grace, elegance, and most importantly style.

So if you read this rumors online or via social media outlets like Twitter, FaceBook, or Instagram, please do not believe the hype! This is just another monkey wrench thrown into the air to wind up a reaction. I am pretty sure the writer of “Scandal” knew exactly what she was doing when she cast Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope.
