At a time where most musical acts are hard to digest it was a pleasure to hear from an artist like Kris Kelli who’s carving her own lane within music. A lane that’s identified as Pop Caribbean meets The Trap. Pulling from her Jamaican roots this songstress lays all her creativity on the beat effortlessly.
Hosted at Atlanta’s very own Caribbean restaurant Stir It Up the night was set to perfection. Drinks were served alongside light refreshment that consisted of well-seasoned and spiced chicken. The crowd entered with the intensions to be entertained with a spirit of unity and good vibes. Once hearing the organic tunes of Kris Kelli there was no turning back. As her music sounds filled the room not a person in the vicinity could keep it together. Even actors Columbus Short and Jackie Long were present in midst of the crowd having the time of their lives.
As fellow artist under Block Entertainment, Short was in attendance not only to support his fellow artist Kris Kelli, but to mingle amongst those who know him outside of acting. Nothing short of amazing was it to see so many people embrace a new artist into the industry with open arms. The former karaoke champion is now in a place where she has come full circle with her purpose. Once discovered through the social media Twitter, Kelli now stand as the first lady of B.E.
Much credit to the man behind it all Joshua King who not only accommodated the evening, but also did an outstanding job from beginning to end. His expertise is evident and the entire Block House Management team are set to take the industry by storm in no time without a doubt.
