This year the luxurious automobile company, Lexus partnered with Uptown magazine to create a series of events where many guest in various states can enjoy the luxury of food, wine, and fine automobiles all in one. Lexus and Uptown plan to hit DC, Texas, and California. The two companies knew it would only be right to kick off the event first in Atlanta, Georgia at The Foundry At Puritan Mill.
I had a great time enjoying great meals and desserts from celebrity Chefs; Mike Valli and Dwayne Hairston created for the packed venue last night. Both chefs presented exquisite meals paired with the perfect selection of wine.
My favorite from award-winning Chef Dwayne Hairston was his Spicy Thai Jumbo Shrimp. As he put it, it his own version of a shrimp cocktail and at first I was a bit hesitant because I am not a fan of chilled shrimp, but Chef Dwayne’s dish gave me a whole new perspective. Although it was the perfect amount of kick to the shrimp, the Creme De Lys Chardonnay cooled it down perfectly.
Chef Mike Valli stole my heart as soon as I took a bite of his delicious mouth watering Crab Cake with lumps of crab meat. Then it was paired with my favorite, Moscato and it was honestly the best Moscato I’ve had.
Then while I was browsing around the venue, or in my words trying to become ‘unfull’ for the next dishes I spotted a car that any woman would kill to be seen in; Lexus 2014 GS 350 Sport.

Now the All-New 2015 NX 300h was definitely a hot pick as well. It was both roomy with a great style/model as well.
Once everything began to die down and ending of our main courses we all sat around having a blast with the Dj, and so many people were on the dance floor to where you had to maneuver to get to the exit. Overall all it was a great event and I had an amazing time. I just hope the next states are ready for the experience because it is definitely one for the books.
