Lil Wayne “Sorry 4 The Wait 2” Mixtape Released!

Cash Money vet and Young Money General, Lil Wayne is letting new music and bullets fly on his new and highly anticipated mixtape “Sorry 4 The Wait 2” that released last night. The cover art for the project sums up everything we’ve been hearing out of Weezy’s shocking situations with his longtime label these last few months and the music on the project doesn’t hold back either.

Lil Wayne has been publicly fighting with his label Cash Money and his longtime mentor who he also refers to as his father, Birdman. Wayne has been frustrated about the delay in his album and has pleaded to be released from the label. Now things seem to be getting very interesting as Wayne drops some very direct diss lines on his new mixtape…quite a few of them, actually. Wayne drops lines like,Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army, and if them n****s comin’ for me, I’m going out like Tony.”  He also drops a line declaring he wants no affiliation with the Cash Money name saying, “No Cash Money, just Young Money s**t.” Sounds like things are about to get heated between the longtime partners in music.

Other than that, the mixtape has the same style as his previous “Sorry 4 The Wait” project. He raps over track from ILOVEMAKONNEN and Meek Mill, to name a few, and has guest appearances from Drake, Christina Milian, and 2 Chainz amongst others.
