When you have it, YOU HAVE IT; and in the case of Bobby Valentino (Bobby V) he NEVER lost it! The same man who brought us hits like Slow Down, Anonymous, and Tell Me is back with a new album that is literally electrifying–Electrik!
Bobby V had a lit listening party last night and thanks to Kontrol Magazine, our very own Michael “Hey Mikey” Fanning was in the building, with Web Star/actor, Chris June in tow. It all went down at W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta and we were there as Bobby sang a medley of the hits that made him famous and revealed his latest singles, Lil Bit, featuring Snoop Dogg, and Promise. The latter song is EVERYTHING! It is ballad he wrote for his daughter–yes, Bobby is “a daddy now” as he so humorously stated–and the lyrics, guitar, and chords are so catchy!

However, one of the biggest surprises, and coolest moments, happened when he performed Blackberry Molasses with his former group members from Mista. Check out a snippet of it below:
