New York Fashion Week ended not too long ago and the festivites for fashion enthusiats moved to London. It seems that the people of London think that they can do it better than the New Yorkers. Their streetstyle, though not as imaginative, is very buttoned up and tidy compared the kids of NYC. With London Fashion Week taking place it’s more apparent that the small nation isn’t holding any punches when it comes to style.
If you think about it, a lot of the homogenized staples of fashion that are considered traditional elements of style in the U.S. do have origins in London. Usually, the children get elements of their syle from their parents and then go beyond what they’ve been taught. And even though Americans are clearly winning this battle, the Brits are still managing to keep up.
