Ludacris has been making big moves on the big screen, but now the rapper is getting back to the basics as he is making his return to where his career started: music.
The Atlanta-born rapper/actor is looking to put a big stamp on 2015 as he is set to drop his 8th studio album in almost five years. His upcoming album, “Ludaversal” is set to hit the shelves March 31st. He is also out and about promoting his new film, “Furious 7” which hits theaters April 3rd. Luda stopped by ESPN’s His And Hers to give us all the details about his upcoming projects.
Ludacris stated on the show that one of his featured tracks on the upcoming album called “Beast Mode” was inspired by a specific football player that we should have no problem guessing…but if you guessed Bobby Boucher than you need guidance and Kontrol is here for you. The song was inspired by none other than the Beast himself, Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks. “It was inspired by Marshawn Lynch. The way he’s plowing down people on the field, I’m plowing down people in the music industry,” Luda says.
