“Gotsta be mo’ careful, Ange!”
There’s been a giggling chatter about Angelina Jolie’s makeup mishap on the red carpet of New York premiere “The Normal Heart.” The Hollywood star was definitely captured in the SPOTlight as her makeup made her looked like she was covered in flour spots in recently released photos. What a great time for a media buzz like this, I’m sure. Most of us are highly anticipating Jolie’s performance as the starring role in Disney’s Maleficent set to premiere at the end of this month!
So, the mishap has been credited to the ‘rookie mistake of her makeup artist’. Apparently they used a powder specifically designed for HD film not flash photography, Celebrity Hair and Makeup Artist Max May is said to have confirmed with sources. Take a closer look at the horribly tacky results:
Now, I understand that mistakes can happen, but HONEY, bless his/her heart for this one. The mishap made me appreciate Tiny’s Hair Stylist and Gal Pal, Shekinah Jo, and how she approached looking for an assistant on last night’s episode of VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. She challenged the applicants by having them prepare the bag she needs for an appointment–which we can somewhat imagine what that could be like for a celebrity stylist since Angelina’s issue hit the internet–anyway, the challenge was timed and the applicants were clearly a little pressed.. as the time came and she went through each bag, she gave each applicant a hard time about whatever items they put in the bag that they shouldn’t have. Angelina’s MUA is a perfect example as to why that was probably important to her because whether it was a true mistake of the makeup artist or that a bag was improperly packed… Angelina is the one who’s paying the price! Well, in front of the camera anyway–I’m sure she’ll be real Maleficent at least until this blows over!
But don’t worry Ange, you’ve got so much ‘gotdamned fabulous’ on your resumé, that not even this MAJOR makeup fail can hurt that flawless beauty and fierce attitude you serve every time we see you!
