Major influences in the menswear world today originate from a multitude of outlets, and inspiration can be drawn from nearly anywhere. How many times have you been out and about and seen someone with great style and wanted to ask them about their clothing? Chances are this has happened to many of us more than once. This street style feature will introduce you to John J. Lee. John is an artist, visual designer, and brand ambassador based in Seattle, Washington. I reached out to John and he was happy to allow Kontrol to feature his personal street style, so lets take a look at what he’s been rocking.
What makes John J. Lee’s street style standout to me is that he consistently find ways to blend designer pieces not only with his personal style, but also with other designer pieces. It’s very easy to put on two or three designer garments and slip into “label whore” style, so it’s no small feat that John has been able to accomplish this.
