Miley Cyrus has either lost it or is a complete genius. Recently, footage of her from the Art Basel show has surfaced and we getting the songstress is raw form. An homage to her friend’s cat was the inspiration behind the tune, but it is somewhat endearing.
She states, “I’ve never played by myself on a stage before and I’ve never played a song that I’ve only played in my living room before, so I’m a little nervous.” Looks like the onstage hard-ass is showing us her softer side for the holidays.
“I feel like her cat kind of told me what I was supposed to say to get her through it… It was more therapy to me than anything.”
By the sounds of the track it gives sultry sound and beautifully written. Her time was evidently taken while placing the lyrical content together. Again she could either be a cry for help or a genius best at work. Thankfully, she’s placing it all in her music and not stumbling out of every nightclub.
