After the week delay, Nicki Minaj’s new single, Anaconda is finally available on iTunes. The single which was suppose to release on July 28th, was pushed back as the female rapper posted on her instagram page the alternative cover below with the  following caption “My darlingz, I’ve pushed the release of Anaconda to next week,Monday(8/4).” Minaj  continued by saying ” I promise you will understand why before the week is out.”

Minaj pushed back the release of her single for the unexpected remix she featured with Queen Bey for “Flawless”,  released Saturday evening , appearing on Beyonce’s website.  The Collaboration was definitely worth the wait for Anaconda releasing as Beyonce addressed the infamous elevator incident by saying “We escalate up in this bitch like elevator, of course sometimes shit go down when its a billion dollars on an elevator.”

As far for Anaconda, the single was leaked two days before the release of Flawless remix. The single samples Sir Mix A lot’s 1992 hit “Baby Got Back.” The explicit song has lyrics and phrases that only Minaj can spit. Minaj repeatedly says on the chorus” Oh my god, look at her butt.” She also mention her famous “Ass” which caused a lot of tension and speculation across social media.

Minaj recently uploaded a snippet video prior to her uploading a post promoting the single being available on iTunes. The snippet captures Minaj glammed up in the jungle with her famous back side, being apart of the video. Minaj has yet released anything about the actual release of the video.

It seems ever  since the 2014 BET AWARDS , where Minaj was announced the winner five years in a row for, “Best Female Rapper” initially letting us know “when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it”. Minaj continuously releases features and freestyle leading up to the anticipated release of her upcoming album “The Pink Print“, which has no release date. We are loving the verses Nicki!  Keep us waiting until The Pink Print drops.
