Moschino headlined the first-ever Made Los Angeles, a two-day fashion event for emerging designers in LA. The event was open to the public, tickets ranged from $55 to $400, so plenty of Jeremy Scott fans were in attendance.
On Friday night, Jeremy Scott unveiled Moschino’s Summer 2017 menswear and Resort womenswear collections. The ’60s-themed event would have made up think you were partying in 1972. The collection featured tailor suits, crop tops, flared trousers that had flowers, peace signs, and tie-dyed. Scott taught us how to really rock bold print on print that night.
The accessories were almost the star of the collections. The shoes were loud and fun, with boldly patterned loafers and oxfords for men and floral Mary Jane Platforms and go-go boots for women. The headwear featured oversized newsboy caps covered in bold, prints, umbrella hats made of lace and a floppy hat that looked like something the Mad Hatter would wear.
The event was star-studded with celebrity guest Katy Perry, Caitlyn Jenner, Cindy Crawford, Colton Haynes, Amber Rose, and Big Sean just to name a few.
The runway also featured some famous faces. Miranda Kerr, Jourdan Dunn, and Chanel Iman strutted down the runway in bedazzled kaleidoscope-print outfit. Anwar Hadid, son of Yolanda and younger brother of Gigi and Bella, graced the catwalk, and Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford made his modeling debut in an orange lace suit.
Before the show attendants were able to shop over 30 pop-up shops filled with merchandise from local brands and emerging designers in the LA area.
Along with Moschino show, Tyler the Creator presented his clothing line Golf Wang.
