Naomi Campbell graces the cover of Vogue Brazil’s May issue. The 45-year-old model looks stunning in Valentino, sporting a retro inspired pinup hair duo and bright blue eye shadow.
The spread will include several other high fashion ensembles that are fresh off the runway. She was also spotted wearing leopard print Versace wide-leg trouser during the photo shot. The shot took place in Rio de Janeiro according to Dailymail.
The British beauty has had a long and successful modeling career. Her first magazine cover was in 1986 for Elle. She made a name for herself as a supermodel in the 90’s but she is still one of the most demanded women in the world today. Campbell has appeared in numerous magazine covers including Interview, Elle, and Glamour. Campbell was the first black model to appear on the covers of Vogue Paris and British Vogue. She also has appeared in several music videos, movies, and currently has a staring role in Empire.
With an impressive resume like that you would think Campbell has done it all. She has just about done it all, except achieving Victoria’s Secret Angel status. Of course she has walked the runways for Victoria Secret, but you have to be an elite model to become a certified angel. Angels star in commercial, ad campaign, and in Victoria Secret catalogs.
In an interview with The Sun she explains that she has never become an angel because they cannot afford her. I can only imagine what Campbell’s ticket price is. Campbell was named No. 1 on People With Money magazine’s top 10 highest-paid models for 2016. Last year, her net worth was $48 million dollars. On April 7, 2106 she released a coffee table book, with never before seen nudes and photos, which is priced at $1,750!
