Singer, mother, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is back on the music scene with her single “I Can’t Describe(The Way I Feel)” featuring Atlanta’s own T.I. and Pharrell. Jennifer is back in the studio recording her third album which I’m glad because it seemed as though she had the Jenny Craig “curse” and that’s what she was becoming known for and not for the amazing voice that she’s been gifted with. I like the song, it has an throwback R&B vibe, it reminds me of Evelyn Champagne King’s “Love Come Down.”
Jen has also been busy getting her acting on. You can see her on the big screen playing Winnie Mandela opposite Terrance Howard as Nelson Mandela and she has a new project in theaters October 11th “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” which is a coming of age story about two inner city youths, who are left to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by the authorities that also stars Anthony Mackie, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jordin Sparks and Jeffrey Wright. Take a peek at the trailer below.
Are you glad Jen is back or should she stick to movies and Jenny Craig?
