New York Fashion Week: Tadashi Shoji Show

On February 12th at the Lincoln Center, Tadashi Shoji’s line caused me to anticipate the upcoming fall season eagerly. These dresses are designed by Japanese-born, American fashion designer and Tasashi Shoji took me through a dream full of elegant dresses with astonishing detail. Each dress was uniquely different and envied. It will not take long for these beautiful dresses to be worn in Washington D.C. by Michelle Obama and various celebrities on the red carpet.

Tadashi Shoji is going to leave a sexy mark in fall 2015! The show was called, ” The beauty of flight.” This name was entirely appropriate based on the elegance of these dresses. Each of these dresses flowed and captured. The models went down the runway in these dresses as if they were floating.  My favorite dress from Tadashi was a long-sleeved, grey dress embellished with patterns and flowed to the model’s feet. Even though this was a maxi, the dress did not look boxy on the model’s body but instead, complimented her body’s beautiful form.

Tadashi came to New York to divide and conquer. His mission was accomplished.

The notable celebrities that were in attendance at the show were pop singer Kesha.
