Nicki Minaj has always been known to shock us with her wardrobe choices, but this new and improved subtle Young Money rapper shocked us in another way. During the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, Minaj announced that her new single “Pills N Potions” would be set to release Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
“Pills N Potions” paves the way for her much anticipated third album The Pinkprint.
Minaj took a moment to describe the sound of “Pills N Potions,”
“It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like — *Gasp!”
“The Pinkprint will remind people why they fell in love with Nicki Minaj, and that needs to be done,” Minaj said.
“Pills N Potions” will hit iTunes Wednesday, while The Pinkprint is set to release later on this year.
