The Pied Piper of R&B, R. Kelly, is making headlines again. This time around it’s not for his heart warming lyrics or alluring melodies. In an interview with BuzzFeed, several parents accused the R&B singer of orchestrating an abusive sex cult in his homes located in Johns Creek and Chicago.

R. Kelly’s Alleged Sex Cult
Allegedly, Kelly is running an abusive cult, in which several women are being held against their will. According to several sources, the singer, songwriter, and producer controls every aspect of the women’s lives including how the dress, when they bathe, when they’re allowed to sleep, as well as sexual activity.
To add more fuel to R. Kelly’s inferno of a reputation, three former members of the singer’s camp: Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee recall their experiences with R. Kelly. Each of their stories attests to the accusations pending against Kelly. Cheryl Mack told BuzzFeed, ” No. You have to ask for food. You have to ask to go use the bathroom… a master at mind control. …He is a puppet master.”
Women Speak Up and Out Against R. Kelly
One parent, identified as J tells BuzzFeed the story of how she and her 19-year-old daughter came face-to-face with R. Kelly backstage at his concert at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California.
“When we got to go backstage with R. Kelly, we stayed there over two hours, one-on-one with just me and my daughter and him. We went back to talk about the music. He listened to her CD. He was going to help her with her CD, and I was really impressed with him at first, because I have always been an R. Kelly fan.”

J Seeks Help From Authorities
Two years after their initial interaction with R. Kelly, J can hardly recognize her own daughter. J says, “It was if she was brainwashed. She looked like a prisoner−it was horrible.” Sadly, J has only heard from her daughter twice since she last saw her. According to J and Kelly’s former employees, the women are not allowed to contact their families without Kelly’s permission. Johns Creek police department released a statement stating, the case is not under investigation. Nowadays, it seems as if the Grammy award winning R&B singer can’t catch a break.
