One Of Atlanta’s Best Kept Secret: BQE Lounge

BQE Lounge is one of Atlanta’s best-kept secrets. While it’s easy to pass if you’re not looking for it, their food is something you don’t want to miss.

BQE lounge, which is located Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward, is home to some of the best waffles I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. The red velvet waffles accompanied with their buttermilk fried chicken, savory macaroni and cheese and flavorful collard greens, were to die for. The waffles, which were covered in powdered sugar and drizzled in cream cheese sauce melted in my mouth. I can easily say that they were the best waffles I have ever tried, hands down. I’m excited to try their “Georgia stone” grits and shrimp cooked in a “low country gravy” during my next visit.

The small and intimate setting is perfect for a first date or a late lunch with your girlfriends. The edgy mirror over the bar and the lit up New York skyline over their VIP couch give the lounge an upscale feel.
