Remember the ultra-dope Louis Vuitton s/s 2016 campaign video. It was groundbreaking and dope in its own right with the cool visuals, crisp contrast and concept, all shot by Photographer Bruce Weber. Well just recently Weber has done it again, shooting another equally dope campaign teaming up with Luxury clothing shop Barneys New York, this time featuring Lady Gaga and host of other notable personalities. For their upcoming 2016 spring season Barneys New York is opening up its original downtown location in Chelsea later this month, so it’s only right to have a campaign to pay respect to the history this luxury retailor. Titled “Our Town” The images feature Gaga, Yoko Ono, Cyndi Lauper and Helmut Lang, as well as other New York celebrities in effort to showcase the diverse nature of people that make up the city. With legendary locations spanning from the lower eastside to the rich boutiques uptown, all is captured through the iconic photographer’s lens. “As I now took photographs and films of my beloved city, I could still feel its embrace and a tear ran down my cheek for a love once lost and again found,” said Weber in a press release. Barneys spring 2016 campaign is sure to rival other campaigns alike this season.
