It’s about that time again Atlanta. Are you ready for project Next: The Next Generation of Fashion?
This is the 24th year Clark Atlanta University will be sponsoring their annual “Festival of Arts” fashion week where upcoming designers are able to display their work and pieces they have worked on all school year long. Not only has the school partnered up with the Department of Art, Fashion Design and Merchandising Program but also the public to display new and “one of a kind clothing” such as “shoes and handbags”. This event is dedicating to fundraising for the fashion department as well giving the designers the opportunity to showcase their work and network with other designers in the fashion
industry.

The schedule of each event is as follows:
The Fashion Show will be held on the evening of Friday, April 26, 2013 at 8. P.M. in the Clark Atlanta University- Multipurpose room.
Festivities for the CAU Fashion Week will begin Wednesday April 17 and end on April 19, 2013.
The Kick Off is a day party that will be on the Promenade for students. There will be food and drinks for
SALE.
-Wednesday April 17- Kick Off –Promenade
-Wednesday April 17- Revamped Fashion Show- Students- CAU- $2; AUC- $3 The revamped fashion show is where the students from the department are able to cut up and redesign
old pieces.
-Thursday April 18- Fashion Police on Campus
Fashion Police is going to be an event where a few students will be around campus giving tickets and their opinion on the clothing they see students wearing (good & bad).
This festival will feature the Department of Art’s Annual Fashion Show “La Mode Internationale,” and performances by music and theater arts students and an art exhibition. Student tickets are $5.00 in advance and general admission tickets are $10.00 in advance.
