Quality Control Music has been making a big splash in the music industry. With the help of the instant stardom of the Migos and the raising stardom of OG Maco, Quality Music is ringing a lot of bells, including the ones of Capital Music Group and Motown Records.
The Atlanta based music label made the announcement yesterday that they have signed a joint venture deal with the two veteran music powerhouses. CEO of Quality Control, Pierre Thomas, told Billboard, “We believe that this partnership will help us expand our brand globally. As the saying goes, ‘When you work hard, it pays off.”
Motown’s President Ethiopia Habtemariam shared her excitement about the new partnership. “Like Motown, the goals are aligned in moving urban culture forward with music and talent that connect around the world,” she said. “We’re all on the same page and are going to make major waves.”
The Q.C roster will be affliated with those of the two big brother companies who will handle the decisions being made by the label. Q.C’s COO, Kevin Lee, believes in the new venture with the two companies. Lee said: “The people there are really good at what they do, and we’ll be providing them with great music and artist development to enhance their growth. Teaming together should bring awesome results for everyone.”
Major moves being made in here. Major moves.
