Well it looks like these reality TV shows are getting cancelled one by one. After countless protests and advertisers pulling from VH1’s Sorority Girls, they have finally taken it off of the air (the last 3 episodes will air this Friday) and now reportedly TV One has cancelled R&B Divas: Atlanta.
The show, which has had three seasons, featured R&B singers: LaTavia (of Destiny’s Child), Monifah, Syleena, Kameelah, Angie Stone, and Keke Wyatt.
According to Love B. Scott, TV One hasn’t confirmed its cancellation, but the cast members were allegedly told earlier this week that the show would not be back for another season.
The reason why? Rumor has it that the lawsuit against R&B Divas, a spin-off to Hollywood Divas, from Nicci Gilbert is to blame. Todd Tucker of RHOA produces Hollywood Divas.
