Respected Roots

With a collection of beard and skin care products, Respected Roots paving the way by providing quality products using natural ingredients. With several similar products in their collection, it’s hard to choose which one to buy, however, no matter which you choose the results never change. Soft, hydrated beards and well-moisturized skin is the outcome that is delivered, which is favorable for any customers.

We reviewed Respect Roots’ beard conditioner and body butter to give a little insight to consumers on what to affect.

Respected Roots
Original Scent Beard Butter, 4 ounces

The Orginal Scent Beard Butter is essentially a conditioner for beards made up of shea butter, cocoa butter, apricot oil, vitamin E oil, grape seed oil, beeswax, and tea tree oil. It’s subtle, but sweet scent comes from oils of lavender, oak, and citrus. So, basically, it’s an all-natural product, composed of ingredients that are proven to be good for skin and hair.

At first, glance the product looks like candle wax, similar to cocoa butter or shea butter in a jar. It takes a little bit of pressure to scoop it out of the container with your fingers, but once it’s out the butter instantly softens. A quick rub of the hands will make it sub comb to a fluid state that’s can easily be applied after your beard is damp.

The results achieved through using this product are almost instantaneously. After application, men will find that their beards feel softer, hydrated, and look healthier. If you’re a person with a black beard it’s very obvious to see the difference between a dull looking black hair and healthy hydrated black hair. Another great aspect the results is that your beard will not look or feel oily, like with other products.

Respected Roots has created two other butters with different scents which are the Tropical Scent Beard Butter and the Royal Scent Beard Butter. Honestly, there the differences between the scents are not significant enough to make someone have a preference. However, after comparing each one we’ve decided that the Original scent is our favorite.

Respected Roots

Though the beard butter is mostly for men (unless you’re a bearded lady), the Original Scent Unisex Body Butter is a product that anyone can use. Similar to the beard butter, the body butter contains shea butter, apricot oil, vitamin E oil, grape seed oil, beeswax, and tea tree oil; adding in mango butter. It’s sweet scent is created by the combination of the mango butter and vanilla.

Inside the container, the body butter feels like a cushion and it takes little to no effort to apply. Like coconut oil, it dries quickly when applied, and leaves the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Again, the scent of Respected Roots’ products is sweet but subtle, never drawing too much attention to the applied area.

The overall conclusion for Respected Roots is that they make great products for the everyday guy (and sometimes girl). Easy application, instant results, and subtle scents all are key in designing products for men and Respected Roots hit the nail on the head.

The other part that we love about their products is the ability to take them anywhere. The containers are small and don’t take up much room in any travel case. This allows the products to be beneficial to people who lead active lives or who are always on-the-go.

We’d like to thank Respect Roots for the opportunity to test out their beard butter and body butter. Visit the Respected Roots website at www.respected-roots.com to check out their products, place an order, or discover their retail locations.
