Named an Angel just last year, Jasmine Tookes is making major milestones in her modeling career.

No modeling jobs, compared to that of a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Jasmine has been apart of Victoria’s Secret franchise since 2010, becoming a well-known face on the PINK runway. Jasmine was honored and surprised, as she was picked to wear the most valuable piece of lingerie, the Fantasy Bra. As the third woman of color to wear the one-of-a-kind Fantasy Bra, following Selita Ebanks (2004) and Tyra Banks (2007 & 1997).

Designed by Eddie Borgo the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra, crafted from 9,00 gemstones with almost 450 carats is the highlight of each year’s fashion show. Granting one Angel the spotlight. Behind the stage, Jasmine prepped for the pre-show with back-strengthening exercises.

“I feel like it’s such a milestone for Victoria’s Secret to have a woman of color wearing the Fantasy Bra because there’s only been two in the past. It’s major, and I think it’s awesome I get to represent that”, Jasmine told Fashionista.

This California native has been making history on the runway.

Jasmine was discovered at the age of 15 while on set with her celebrity stylist mother. Since walking her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion show in 2012, Jasmine is at the forefront with her official Angel wings. Although she’s an Angel first, don’t get it twisted Jasmine is booked and busy. Booking high fashion editorials for both Vogue and W, while gracing fashion runways for Yves Saint and Tom Ford.
